Stripe Transaction Fees

Stripe Transaction Fees
As part of our partnership with Stripe Connect, there is a standard transaction fee applied to each payment processed through the platform. This fee ensures secure and efficient transactions for all parties involved. When creating the payment request, you can include the Stripe transaction fee in the total amount billed to your guest. Be sure to relay that booking with you via SSRNJ.com, still remains 20% cheaper than booking through platforms like VRBO or Airbnb.

United States Currency
Stripe charges the host a 4.8% convenience fee, plus 30¢ per transaction, which you can pass on to the guest if you choose.

US Example:
If the total amount due from your guest from the United States is $2,500.00, bill them $2,620.30 to cover the fees.
The credit card transaction fee on a US $2,500 transaction would be $120.30.

International Currency Conversion (non US)
Stripe charges an additional 1% fee on non-US accounts plus an additional 1% fee for currency conversion transactions, for a total of 5.8%, plus 30¢ per transaction, which you can pass on to the guest if you choose.

International Example:
If the total amount due from your guest from the United States is $2,500.00, bill them $2,645.30 to cover the fees.
The credit card transaction fee on an international $2,500 transaction would be $145.30.
